I'M MORBID
The inspiration for I'm MORBID comes from my personal experience. I am a person who has long been troubled by obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety. During my growth, I read an interview record of a mentally ill patient. Through this book, I have discovered a new perspective to view mental illness, as some patients with mental illness are able to approach and solve problems from a fresh perspective, which to some extent endows them with extraordinary abilities. So I created a set of illustrations depicting my inner world from the perspective of an anxiety patient. I hope to see mental illnesses from a different perspective, as they may not only bring negative emotions to those around me, but may also open up new perspectives for me to see more beautiful pictures in the world.
